simple monday.

Last night this happened.

Ken:  "Sometimes you surprise me with the things you say."

Lani:  "Like what?"

Ken: "Like, I love you." 


Apparently I'm not very loving? 

Anyways, I finally had a day alone. Veterans day, I respect you. I spent a good part of my day looking at wallpaper and dreaming of painting my kitchen door a really bright color. Add it to my summer to do list. If I'm feeling crazy, my Christmas to do list. 

I could see this wallpaper in my hall, yup, I can.

Three kitchen appliances I can't don't want to live without. 

1. My crockpot

I currently have applesauce cooking away in there.

 2. MY VITAMIX.

I tell Kenny I my dream job is to be a spokes person for Vitamix. No really, I love this thing. Tonight, I made homemade fruit leather. Took me about 30 seconds thanks to my bff vita. 

3. My Dehydrator

Oh I love it. Right this second I am drying apples and fruit leather in this baby. Kenny always asks when I am going to put it away. never.
