home!

im home from california. i snuggled his baby boy for 7 days straight. we hiked, and swam, and sun bathed, i ran on the beach, and ate a lot of ice cream. it went too fast. here is a little glimpse of my trip.

it was really rough coming back to reality. monday i start student teaching full time. i am excited, nervous, and anxious! i only have 70 days till graduation. that also means 70 days to finish a million things. my social life is over come monday. what i am talking about, i dont have one.

i got a new dog!

she is a three year old golden retriever.

and quite the sweet girl.

im trying to train her to be my running partner.

she sometimes gets startled, you could say we have had some struggles.

today we ran three miles and were almost back to the house when our neighborhood started opening their garage door. alarmed, she jumped and took me out. i hit the wet pavement pretty hard. i definitely got a few battle wounds from that fall. my family really got a kick out of this story.

so my teeth are gone. they were pulled yesterday. i was told it would be a great experience, i would be on drugs and the recovery would be easy. i can see that happening. however, not in my case. the medication made me throw up. i couldn't keep any mushy food down all afternoon. it was dreadful! dreadful!

but on my second day im feeling a little better. netfllix and pudding are my best friends!
